WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE  that justification (being accounted righteous before God the Father) comes about only through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus; John 3v16, Matthew 1v22-23, Luke 24 v27, Luke 24v44.

 WE BELIEVE  that the Holy Ghost indwells believers and that He gives power for service and gifts for the benefit of the Body of Christ (the Church); John 14v23, Romans 8v9-11, Acts 1v8, 1 Corinthians 12.

   WE BELIEVE  the Holy Scriptures, comprising the Old and New Testaments, as originally given are divinely inspired, infallible, and all sufficient for all matters of belief and behaviour; 2 Timothy 3v16, 2 Peter 1v20-21.

   WE BELIEVE  in water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

    WE BELIEVE  in the personal return of the Lord Jesus, the Messiah and King of Kings, and Saviour of the world; Zechariah 14v4, Matthew 16v27, Acts 1v11.

 WE BELIEVE  the Church consists of believers born of the Spirit and justified by faith, both Jew and Gentile; Romans 10v12, Ephesians 4 v11-22.

 WE BELIEVE  in the One and Only true God. The Godhead consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. Three distinct coequal persons but ONE unique Godhead; Isaiah 48v16, Mark 12v29, Matthew 28v18-19, 2 Corinthians 13v14.

 WE BELIEVE that Jesus is the Only begotten Son of the Father; Prov. 30v4, Psalm 2v7. His first coming as a man is fulfilment of the Old Testament prophecies. His ‘one sacrifice for sin forever’ has replaced all sacrifices of the Old Covenant, and is now the only ground for Redemption; Hebrews 9v12. Born of a virgin mother, He died and rose from the dead and now sits on the right hand of God the Father in glory; Psalm 110v1. Act 2v34.

 WE BELIEVE  that God the Father revealed Himself through the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the One True Eternal Source; Whom is All Wise, All Powerful, All Knowing, All Loving; Creator God. He has now revealed Himself through His Son Jesus, the Christ (Messiah); Hebrews 1v1-3.
